Storytime PopUp! @ The Waterhole
Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays and more at this innovation collaboration between PGCMLS & Mt. Rainier’s fabulous organic juice & smoothie joint, The Waterhole. Best for 0-5 years old. Curious? Click here for my review of The Waterhole!

Smaland at College Park’s Ikea
Free, 1 hour, supervised, enclosed, safe & clean play area near the entrance. Enjoy some shopping or just relax/eat/peoplewatch at the restaurant upstairs while your young one(s) burns off some energy at Smaland. Children must be potty trained and be 37” to 54” tall (so children typically b/w ages of 3-6). Tips: (1) Best to arrive earlier on in the day as day progresses, so do the entrances lines; & (2) Join Ikea Family & kids get extra 30 minutes to play (depending on capacity) & you get free coffee!

Let’s Go Bowling!
Check out the new bowling alley (in old AMF bowling location) for some Friday afternoon bowling! They’ve also got an arcade section. And the food was better than expected! 🙂

Xtreme Teens: Wii Dance Competition (Ages 10-17)
Here’s your chance to have your very own version of the hit show, “Dancing with Stars!” Tonight is the night to perfect those Wii dance moves, followed by a fitness room workout. Fun and fitness at the same time! What more could one ask for?
When: 7:30-9pm

Quality “pre-washed and gently worn” clothing and accessories + toys for children from tots to teens will be available. (I’ve been to this before and it’s great. Good quality used-clothing for good prices.)

Toddler Time @ Art Works Now

Love Your Library
How much do you love your library? Create a mural reflecting how much you love your local library! Murals will be used to decorate the library. Supplies will be provided.When: 12-3pm

Kid Koders

Learn the basic of coding through game-based activities that will challenge creative and logical skills while teaching core concepts of computer science and programming. Ages 5-12. Read here about what’s to love at the Laurel Library!

Afternoon Aviators
Every month we will explore a different aviation themed topic through STEM-based, hands on activities. Fun for children ages 6 & up.

Cost: $5/person includes museum admission and supplies


Arts Drop-in at MilkBoy ArtHouse – Kites and Wind-Driven Art
College Park Arts Exchange is bringing their classic Arts Drop-In series to MilkBoy ArtHouse! Project supplies are provided at no cost, but we encourage you to purchase brunch and support MilkBoy ArtHouse!
