Dance Dance Party Party!
Dance Dance Party Party is a women-only freestyle exercise dance session! Come in your exercise clothes. Burn anywhere from 200-400 calories Dance your heart out to an eclectic mix of music for an hour straight. Make new friends, leave refreshed!

Brazilian singer-songwriter Cissa Paz shares her diverse cultural experiences with every audience she encounters. She composes and arranges songs that are filled with the rich traditions of Afro-Brazilian and Luso-African concepts.

College Park Outdoor Performance Series – Joe Garner & the Produce Section
Hey y’all, we’ll be playing some jams from 6 to 7 right by Route One! Some originals, some covers, some jazz improv who knows! Let us know of you want to sing a song or if you have a cover request! We’re a four-person indie band featured on the Terrapin Record Label.

Opening Reception – Southern Fried Woodcuts
Mississippi-based Printmaker and professional Mountain Dew drinker Sean Starwars exhibits over 200 of his famous/ infamous woodblock prints. His distinctive style and prolific work have rendered him one of the top contemporary printmakers in the U.S.

1 Mile Radius Project
The 1 Mile Radius project magnifies the intimate nooks and crevices of seemingly familiar areas. This performance art meet performing arts experience is not to be missed by anyone whose ever lived, worked, shopped or traveled through the city Joe’s calls home.When: 7pm

Letitia VanSant’s lyrics are at once intensely personal and politically relevant. Hailed as one of Baltimore’s strongest folk songwriters, her intimate voice is fortified by sparse Americana arrangements. Ben Shannon’s songs spring from an acute awareness of the Appalachian region and a first hand experience of the multi-generational effects of a resource extraction economy. Join the University Park, MD community for a morning of family-friendly fun and fitness. The Azalea Classic has a race for everyone! Choose from our USATF certified 5K, our 1 Mile Challenge or our 1K Family Fun Run.

Spring 2018 HY-SWAP
β€˜Shop’ the HY-Swap to pick up new-to-you infant, children’s & maternity clothing, toys & gear, donated by Hyattsville-area families! They’re also collecting diapers and sanitary items for the Greater DC Diaper Bank. (Please note that at this time they are not accepting any more donations – other than big items-high chairs, car seats, cribs, stroller, etc.)

ANGST / Free Anxiety Awareness Documentary Screening
Featuring Olympian Michael Phelps, this movie aims to raise awareness about anxiety in children and teens. This topic is timely since students will begin PARCC testing the following week and because schools have seen an increase in bullying over the past few years. Following the movie a brief discussion will be lead by Gretchen Schock, Owner of Bee Yoga Fusion, and Donna Behe, PGCPS Guidance Counselor, where students can ask questions and gain access to additional resources.

Earth Day Ride and Expo
Celebrate the Earth with a bike ride! Rides of 4 miles, 18 miles and 36 miles. Displays and info on electric cars, bikes and trikes!
