THURSDAY 

Riverdale Park Farmers Market
One of my fave farmers markets! Get your fresh and local produce right here! Live music, too! We love strolling around the Riverdale Park Farmers Market, buying some fresh, local produce, grabbing a bite from one of the vendors, absorbing some tunes while the kids frolic around and then we all head to Town Center Market to enjoy a tasty beer or 5 outside.

Hispanic Heritage Film Series: El mar la mar 
Join for this final free film screening for Hispanic Heritage Month. From Harvard University’s Sensory Ethnography Lab, known for pushing the boundaries of aesthetics and nonfiction films, El mar la mar explores the US/Mexico Sonoran desert border with an experimental approach that at times borders on total abstraction while touching on the narratives and experiences of the migrants and border patrol agents that traverse the region.

Dance Dance Party Party!
Dance Dance Party Party is a women-only freestyle exercise dance session! Come in your exercise clothes. Burn anywhere from 200-400 calories Dance your heart out to an eclectic mix of music for an hour straight. Make new friends, leave refreshed!

Movies@hope
Join to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation with Martin Luther. This acclaimed British documentary from 2002 explores the life and legacy of the obscure monk and college professor. Elizabeth Platz, the first women ordained into the Lutheran clergy in North America, will introduce the film and lead discussion afterwards.

Don Flemons at the Listening Room 
Catch grammy award winning musician, Dom Flemons, for his fresh, contemporary style of folk. As a multi-intrumentalist, expect Flemons to break out anything from banjos, guitars, drums and more for an engaging and provocative performance! Check out my review of Brentwood Arts Exchange here!

Hurricane Relief Screening - Apollo 13
Please join us as we host a special screening of APOLLO 13 to benefit the hurricane victims. 50% of the proceeds will go to three highly rated nonprofits dedicated to providing emergency relief (Americares, Hands.org, Oxfam America)

Second Annual Hyattsville Zombie Run! 
All fitness levels welcome! There's a 5K, 1 Mile Kids' Challenge and a 1K Family Fun Run! Money raised goes towards classroom resources, art and music supplies, field trips and more.

Cyclocross Clinic
Beginner women's cyclocross clinic. Learn all the stuff - the dreaded mount/dismount, hopping barriers, climbing short steeps, etc. Bring your CX or MTB, snacks and water.

SUNDAY 

Arrow Bicycle Sunday Ride
The Sunday ride is a 32-mile, moderately paced ride that emphasizes group riding techniques. Those new to group riding are welcome as we regroup throughout the ride so that nobody is left behind. Ride starts at Arrow Bicycle. Many rides are held subject to weather so it's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too.
When: 9-11:30 am

Sunday morn' recommendation: Enjoy a leisurely coffee at Vigilante, step next door to explore Studio Sohy's Zunzima exhbit, make your way to Tanglewood Works, then pop over to Pyramid to check out the awesome printmaking exhibit, I Hope You Find What You Are Looking For, by Chadwick Tolley!
When: Pyramid's Sunday hours 12-5pm
