Join us for FREE yoga classes in the beautiful outdoors! Learn basic moves to strengthen your body, increase flexibility and free your mind. Classes run Memorial Day through Labor Day and are for ages 13+. No registration is required. Namaste!

Acoustic Blues Jam
Musicians of all skill levels are welcome to join in, and many music-lovers stop by just to listen. Besides being a good time for everyone, Saturdays at the Barbershop allow the young to learn from the old and the Piedmont blues tradition to be passed down to the next generation.

Evening Boat Tour of the Anacostia River
Join us for a pontoon boat ride of the scenic Anacostia River. Routs are open to the public. Boat tour tickets are sold at the park office the day of the tour.

Cost: $2 residents; $3 nonresidents

Each Summer Saturday Film Screening will include a screening of a film created by a local filmmaker and a Q&A segment. Sugarland is the story of a local family's unspoken history and takes its audience on a journey through genealogical and ancestral findings.

**90th Anniversary Celebration Open House (Free admission for residents to many PG Parks  & Rec Community Centers, Driving Rangers and even free boat rentals at two of our Waterfront Parks!
Space is limited to first come first serve so make sure you and your family head out to the fun early!

Coffee Ride
Our weekly ride to Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville for caffeinated goodness. Bring cash/cc, lock. Approximately 12 miles round trip, mostly trails, some on-road riding. Helmets required.

Greenbelt Farmers Market
Check out this cool & big farmers market offering produce, pasture-raised meats, sustainable seafood, soaps, crepes, ice cream, breads and baked goods, goat cheese & more! While there, let your ears soak up some Transatlantic Crossing and their fiddle-n tunes (think "toe-tapping Irish and Scottish jigs and reels!") When done shopping, head to the New Deal Cafe for some nosh and/or a coffee by Vigilante!

Creation Residency 2017-18: Somi
Dreaming Zenzile is a modern jazz play based on the extraordinary life of late South African singer and political activist Miriam Makeba. Written by vocalist & songwriter Somi, the play features both original music and reinterpretations of Makeba’s popular repertoire through the modern jazz idiom and small ensemble arrangements.

Yoga at Magruder Park
