Adults' Weekend Guide March 11th-12th

Zumba Class!
Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That's exactly what the Zumba program is all about. It's an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that's moving moving millions of people toward joy and health. 
When: 9:30am-10:30am

Outdoor Lighting Workshop
Join this class to learn more about outdoor lighting. An associate will lead you through a discussion about the different options in outdoor lights. Then, we will break down the differences between decorative and security lighting. Finally, we will show you a variety of different ways to get your outdoor lighting powered up.
When: 10-11:30am

Movin' With the Mayor!
Interested in building your strength through Pilates? Love relaxing your mind with yoga? Join Mayor Hollingsworth for Yogalates.  All are welcome!

Tasting the Past:Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
Indulge in a bit of a sugar rush! Foodways historian Joyce White shares the history of sugar – from its medicinal uses (when a spoonful of sugar really WAS the medicine!) to the tasty treats and recipes it’s used in today.  Call 301-864-0420 to register.

Chocolate Cities Panel Discussion: Black Wall Street, Pathways to Community Wealth, featuring Stephanie James, Founder of Women in Prince George's, Kezia Williams, Founder of The Black UpStart and Jared Brown, Operations Director of The Black UpStart.

Public Reception: 48th Annual Laurel Art Guild Juried Exhibition 
Organized by the Laurel Art Guild, this annual exhibit is juried by a regional professional and showcases works by artists ages 18 & older who live in the Washington metropolitan area, and includes paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, collages, and more.
When: 2-4pm
